Rental Policies
Rental Periods \| Reservations \| Payment and Pricing Care of Equipment \| Delivery Service \| Hours of Operation

Rental Periods Half-day: any four hours during normal business hours. Day: any 24-hour period from time of rental. Metered equipment includes 8 hours use in this 24-hour period. Hourly rates will be billed after 8 hours. Week: seven consecutive days from time of rental. Month: 28 consecutive days from time of rental. Overnight: picked up at 4:00 pm and returned by 8:00 am except when store hours conflict. Includes 4 hours use on metered equipment.

Reservations Reservations accepted up to 30 days prior to rental date. Rental equipment is scheduled on availability. Please call to change or cancel your reservation for any reason. Reservations are not automatically cancelled during inclement weather.

Payment and pricing Payment is due at time of rental. Certain items require additional deposit or credit card guarantee. Credit is extended to certain pre-approved accounts and payment is expected upon receipt of invoice. Accounts over 30 days may be assessed a service charge. Taxes, waiver fees, accessories and delivery fees are not included in rates. Prices subject to change without notice. Contractor discounts may be available on open accounts in good standing.

Care of rental equipment Please take proper care of your equipment You are completely responsible for equipment in your possession so be certain about its safe use and operation. Return equipment in same condition as it was received. Damage waiver covers normal wear and tear-not abuse or theft. Maintain proper fluid levels. Call Hornungs Rentals about any questions or problems. Do not attempt any repairs to rented equipment. Call Hornungs Rentals immediately to report any equipment problem. This will freeze the clock on the rental.

Delivery service Delivery of rental equipment directly to your site is available. Call for equipment pick-up when finished. Delivery personnel may not accept pick-up instructions. Delivery and pick-up are curb service, first floor, loading dock or garage door. Special requests are accommodated with prior arrangements. Call Hornungs Rentals for delivery rates and scheduling. Service available Monday through Saturday. Set-up or tear down not included in delivery rates. These services available at additional cost with prior arrangements. Tables, chairs, scaffold, etc. should be stacked and ready for pick-up. Assemble in one location and check counts on multiple items.

Rental hours of operation Monday: 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Friday: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Saturday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Sunday: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. After hours rental service using hardware store personnel may be available Reservations are accepted, however, professional equipment instruction is not guaranteed for off-hours rentals. Hornungs Rentals employees are qualified to train renters on proper equipment usage and recommend accessories for successful project completion.
